SPIKE
UP
TRIM trail −15% / $69.5
Trimming some now is valid — no resistance to wait for
Now $78.9, just under ATH — there is no overhead level to 'sell into'. Parabolas don't give exit signals: if the position is large, trim 20–25% now; trail the rest (halve at −15% from the high ≈ $69.5). Don't wait for the break to think.
WAIT $61–70
Never chase a parabola — iron rule
Buying +60% extension after a +35% week is the worst-expected-value trade on the board. Wait for a deep pullback into $61–70, or weeks of sideways consolidation. Missing it is fine.
DROP
DOWN
HOLD $69.5 / $61.4
When parabolas break they break fast — two stages
Halve at −15% from the high ($69.5); full exit on a daily close below $61.4 (the June breakout shelf and only nearby support). The 25% gap between has no support — no bargaining.
BUY DIP $61.4
Only one level to catch
A drop to $61.4 that holds, on no bad news → half a position. Above $61.4 there is nothing to lean on (vacuum zone); below it, let it find its own bottom — don't guess.
Hard rule (invalidation): 15% off the high (≈$69.5) = halve; daily close below $61.4 support = full exit. The 200-day ($49, −40%) is too far to serve as a stop
Base rate: After big up-days: 20-day 83% win, avg +19% (n=6) — sample too small for statistical weight; this asset runs on risk control, not statistics

Why this call

HYPE differs from the other three: it sits at all-time highs with zero overhead reference — so this card's logic flips from 'wait for levels' to 'risk control': a trailing stop (−15% from the high) replaces resistance-selling, and $61.4 is the single hard line.

The extension is extreme: +60% above the 200-day (BTC +14%, ETH +21%), +35% in a week. Parabolas can run much further — but when they break they give no reaction time. That's why HYPE is the only one of the four where trimming some NOW is the default suggestion for holders.

The bid has structural components (protocol buyback fund + ~$1M/day fee revenue), not pure speculation — that explains the strength but changes nothing about the risk logic.

Statistical honesty: ~640 days of history and n=4–6 similar events — the 83% win rate looks nice and means little. Weight the stop discipline, not the backtest.
